TOMMY'S ADOPTION SUCCESS STORY!...
Tommy came to AMC Cascades as a kitten with his three brothers when they were found living in a barn in western Loudoun County. All four kittens were incredibly adorable but Tommy was by far the most handsome. His beautiful coat was a mixture of gray with sharp black stripes and was as soft as could be.
However, Tommy was also the most fearful of the all the kittens. It took several weeks before Tommy was comfortable being held by the AMC employees and was forever trying to hide in his cage. We knew Tommy would need a very special family who would be patient with him while he adjusted to his new surroundings.
Finding that perfect forever family took some time. In fact, Tommy was the last of his brothers to be adopted. Over the time he spent at AMC he grew quite attached to the staff and they grew very attached to him as well. It was obvious that Tommy was an incredibly sweet and sensitive little boy who would make an amazing pet if given the chance.
Eventually that chance came and Tommy was adopted to a wonderful, loving family. He has an older brother, Oro, who he adores. Tommy’s owners say that the two of them seem like they have known each other for ever. Tommy, even got an awesome birthday present recently when he turned one year old (pictured above with his new big brother, Oro).
The staff at AMC and Tommy’s new family could not be happier that Tommy is happy and thriving in his new home. It took some time but Tommy has become the sweet, loving, outgoing, cuddle bug we all knew he would be.
